Adobe Fireworks CS4 Internal error when starting

I couldn’t launch Fireworks CS4 well after installing CS4 in Windows Vista.

But I could launch it well when I renamed C:\Users\{user_name}\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Fireworks CS4 to other name and run it.

It seems to cause the configuration problem.

After I confirmed to run it, I removed that folder.

In this case, I figured out Adobe customer support is very useful to fix the trouble regarding adobe products. If you have to resolve it on yourself, you can organize what it causes by contacting with adobe staff.

The following is my steps until it gets to work.

fw4_error_win

First of all, I got the following error message and I couldn’t launch FW.

Could not launch Fireworks.

An internal error occured.

I found Adobe – Fireworks General Discussion
and tried Adobe – Adobe CS4 Clean Script

But it didn’t work.

fw4_error_win2

I asked how to fix it in adobe customer support and the support staff thought some choices to confirm what it caused.

I tried a clean boot to see How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista (Japanese page).

I got the new error message and the error number.

error 148:3

I tried Adobe – Adobe Licensing Repair Tool
via
nerosunero: Flash cs4 error 148:3 (now fixed!!!)
, but it didn’t work.

Finally, I tried the renaming way in Adobe – Fireworks General Discussion, and worked well.

P.S.

“148:3″ error showed again when I launched Fireworks CS4.

Then, I removed the above “Fireworks CS4″ folder.

But I couldn’t fix it.

Finally I tried and fiex to use Adobe – Acrobat : For Windows : Adobe Acrobat 8 licensing service update (Windows Vista only) via Forum.NetForcePC.com • View topic – Adobe Error: “You cannot use this product…”.
